How Does the Tour Work?
The tour is free of charge and open to all. There are two requirements:

•You must register online, using the link posted on the home page of our website. This is required because most gardens are private home gardens and space is limited.

•You must accept the waiver of liability, required by our sponsors.
Online registration starts on Sun, Apr 16, 2023, 1:00 pm and closes on Sun, Apr 14, 2024, 3:00 pm. Early registration is highly recommend, so that any problems can be resolved well in advance, before the tour starts.
The registration process is completed once you see a page titled Thank you for Registering (see also How do I register?). You will receive an email that confirms the registration and that contains a personalized hyperlink. This link is assigned only to you; please DO NOT share it with anyone. The personal link facilitates accessing our website and modifying your preferences (see also Why do I need a personal link?).
During the registration, you can choose to receive email reminders about the tour. If you do so, you will receive one reminder about 2 weeks before the tour day, and another reminder three days before the tour. You can also modify your preferences later to receive or disable the email reminders.
Starting on Mar 29, 2024, 12:00 pm, you will be able to access the tour materials from the Registered Visitor Page. You have these choices:

•Click the Registered Visitor Page link right here and enter the email address that you used for registration. On many of our pages, you can find this link under the Tour logo in the upper left.

•Use the personal link received in the confirmation email. If you use the personal link, you don’t have to enter your email.
Tour materials will remain available only until the registration closes on Sun, Apr 14, 2024, 3:00 pm. This helps protect the privacy of the garden owners.
Some of the tour materials require that your computer can display and print PDF documents. In the unlikely case that your computer is not equipped to display PDF, you can download Adobe Reader by clicking here.
Use the tour materials to determine which gardens you want to see and to plan your route before the Tour. You will need to print the directions to the gardens you want to visit, using either the downloaded information, or directly from your web browser. You will also need good street maps for the cities in which you will be visiting gardens.
On Sat, Apr 13 and Sun, Apr 14, 2024, the Tour gardens designated for each day will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visit as many, or as few, as you like, in any order that you like. Transportation to the gardens is up to you (no tour buses are provided). Please also read our Guidelines for the Tour.
